Nth much happened todae..but i was glad that i am finally able to unwind and spend some quality time with friends. Went to parkway at 12pm to meet mathan kenneth brian zamir zakir and zj..the 7 of us played pool and we saw this bunch of ncc guys from TK.. and we were rather put off by their appearance..obviously the twins didnt want them to know that they are back from ukraine..all of us hate them..but what the heck..went to andreas house after that to play some stuff and watch some videos..ate KFC with brian and zj and thats it.
But more importantly..i have been wisening up over the past few days..those days during the industrial attachment have really thrown me back to harsh reality..i have always thought that life is ever so simple..just happiness..and few moments of rage and anguish..but the pain i am experiencing now due to exams are nth..they are considered nth..and to me it was such a big deal..the working life is horrible..super tedious..i have only undergone 3 days of it and i couldnt stand it..and i aspire to be a doctor too..all i can do now is give everything my best and never give up no matter how hard the going is. Life IS a bed of roses..its full of thorns and flowers.
I am going to work in another clinic in mount E tmr. Even though i miss the previous clinic..i still have to go on with my life..no point missing them so much..amazing what 3 days can do to a person like me..how it has drastically changed my life..practically a turning point for me. Gonna be a more disciplined person and complain less in life.
Quotes from the book i am reading [ Eddie's Bastard ]
Fear is a great obstacle to many things, but once it is removed, one can see clearly what needs to be done. There comes a time in every man's life when his worst fears are shown by the cold light of reason to be mere shadows cast by insignificant objects. When this time comes, one may either grow angry over it, or shrug one's shoulders and keep on. This is the true test of adulthood, for he who is resentful of the events which have shaped him has not yet assumed control of his own destiny.
Men are fond of blaming their wars on women. Poor Helen suffers the blame for the siege of Troy, as if she asked to be kidnapped and then rescued. But it is not the fault of women that men go to war against each other. It is the fault of men for being warlike in the first place.
Adios.
