YoZ ppl !!! This blog is super late coz i am gonna talk about my five day week orientation experience...Yup so this will be super long.
Monday
This is a super boring day...there were no games at all !! And i wasnt familiar with anyone in my group. I was posted to Alhena 5 and there were 5 other houses: Zosma, Castor, Sargus, Vega and Regulas. All there was on monday was talks talks and more talks. Talks from the 3 universities in singapore and about meridian JC. We also got to learn part of the school song..
Tuesday
The fun starts here. Ice breakers were played in the atrium today. We played double wacko where we needed to remember the names of the ppl in the group otherwise u get whacked by the OGLs...haha luckily i never kena whacked by newspaper. After that we did a whole lot more cheers until my throat was sore...had to drink honey water mixed with lemon...urgh....but it was fun....learning loads of new cheers and cheering for the house. I got to make some new friends too..which was kinda great.
Wednesday
More fun on wednesday. The whole orientation groups and houses had to make a tour around Meridian as it was Get to know ur JC day. My house toured around the JC...having to do tasks made by the game ICs and the councillors in order to get points and advance to the next checkpoint. I rememeber that i needed to do cheers....both my house's and other houses' cheers. Not only that...i had to do the chicken dance...drench myself with water and write out the word Meridian...form the word Meridian by lying on the ground with other ppl...more cheers...In the end, Alhena was second in position !!! And i got to know the ppl in my group better and made more friends.
Thursday
This day was the one of the most fun day. We had to travel around the east district of Singapore
as it was the amazing race Meridian style. We had to walk....take bus and MRT....walk somemore...urgh...super tiring esp when we are doing all these plus doing tasks and cheering under the hot sun...First we travelled to pasir ris park and the whole group needed to get one place to the other by stepping on cardboard and cheering....also collecting items...then one guy got a rotten kiwi and had to do the banana dance...haha. Next we travelled to eastpoint...we had to find out the word Meridian in 4 languages...chinese german french and italian. Then we spotted a few councillors and we need to talk to fake animals to get points...After that, we had lunch and i talked to a bunch of real parrots while eating...with a few of my friends...damn funny....the bird can say loads of stuff....too bad no vulgar...haha. Then we proceded to a hockey field....and we didnt have to do a thing coz the game IC was from ALHENA !!! haha damn lame....in the end we did nothing and proceeded to a CC. When we reached there, we were in luck....coz the game IC was from ALHENA TOO !!! HAha we didnt do anything too....last checkpoint was bedok at some void deck...we needed to grab each other by the hand in between the legs and walk in circles making animal noises....haha damn lame too...we also cheered in a playground and cheered in a basketball court.. On the MRT trip back....we were racing with Sargus 5 !!!! RACE ON ALHENA !!!! in the end we made a treaty with them to reach Meridian at the same time and both got first place....haha it was fun and tiring
Friday events has to be written on another day coz i am damn tired now...haha cyAz ppl !!!!

Feeling great and excited about tmr's first day of school !!! Can't wait for tomorrow's dawn to break and start life anew !!! I wanna pop a sleeping pill....but i am not allowed to....so i guess i would have trouble sleeping tonite...
Anyway, today was a great day to kickstart the new year ! Mathan, Dipeen, Linhao, Dehong and I watched Meet the Fockers and we definitely had a great laugh ! Before the movie...we had a huge lunch at KFC and chatted about past memories about Nallu.( See Nallu...we are talking about u...muahahaha !!! ) Prepare to be fockerised !!! And i still liked the part where the dog keeps humping on moving objects....wonder how the director trains it to do that....hm...
It was hard saying our goodbyes....but what's needed to be done has to be done...it wouldnt be the last time we would meet each other anyway...haha.
So this concludes today's edition of journal. Until next time. Peace.
