[31st August Thursday]
Today is teachers' day! The highly anticipated day where it is full of fun and laughter..but when i woke up this morning..it was raining very heavily in the west and the sky was as black as ever..is the monsoon season here? Lol nvm..so i did sth only spoilt brats would do..i asked my dad to fetch me to school via car coz i didnt wanna get my shoes wet after the experience the day before..haha yes spoilt but what the heck..it is tough crossing the road during a heavy downpour...muahaha
Teachers' day celebrations was super fun in AC. Summarised version coz i have loads more to update and i am kinda sleepy. AC survivor series: Outwit outmark and outlast. The school council did a video that shows how students and teachers outwit each other and there is a scoreboard. They did the mentos ad on the guy walking backwards to trick the teacher into thinking he is leaving the class when he was actually late..Mr. Barry woolhead talking in chinese asking for hw but got 4 different subtitles! Including tamil! Multiracialism..then he said: Wo yao song ni qu zhuo detention! in an angmoh accent..distorted version of chinese..hahaha..The council ppl also showed how ppl tried to climb over the back gate to escape but the SWAT team would stop them. SWAT stands for student welfare action team and they were carrying baseball bats and nailing the students police style..hahaha the videos were damn funny...plus got a video of Mr. Lim See poi racing with a J1 but the J1 couldnt outrun the teacher..victory for the teacher..hahaha
Choir performance but i cant appreciate it. Jazz ensemble was awesome. Stephen beatboxing while choir alumni performed was cool too. Mr. Barry Woolhead singing: Wake me up when the lecture ends created by Krishmen! Dance ensemble provided a dance. Young teachers sang some song. A J1 band played and sang a song for the teachers. Lame jokes made be the commentators and hosts..what does the victory stick and teachers have in common..they are both staff...and why did cyclops have to close down his school? Coz he only had one pupil...LAME but it was so lame till it was funny..hahaha..Mathan eric and i went wild! Mathan shouting and going crazy..hahaha..prize presentation for long term service teachers. Thats it.
Watched my class present the video to Mdm clare teo but i had to leave. Gave mathan arvin brian and jessica a lift to the east. Reached TK and i felt nostalgic...seeing familiar faces...ppl of the same generation as me..didnt meet the teachers coz i went to TK to meet my friends..Met Jessie and Paula after such a long time..gosh i miss them..and i chatted for quite a long time with them. Met my chess juniors and my beloved GD gang! Brian Mathan Zamir Zakir Kenneth Jingyang Dehong Nallu and myself have reunited once again. Spend quite a long time in TK and we chatted loads..updating ourselves on one another...saw ichun too but couldnt chat with her coz the gang is going to katong shopping centre..
CS again was fun coz it was with the gang..pool day..haha mathan and nallu were going hysterical over the kills made by everyone..haha and it was damn amusing. After a while mathan nallu and i got sian and we went to play pool while the others played dota. Played pool for 2 hours and it was awesome..my luck returned! I regained my pool skills and luck was on my side..made loads of skilled shots and no tyco shots! And i won most of the games...hm..my pool skills are supposed to be rusty..hahaha...and the 3 of us talked about stuff regarding our lives..awesome.
Makaned at parkway foodcourt but on the way there it was like the fellowship experience again..walking in the rain with a small umbrella...ate chicken rice and the rest joined us to makan soon after. We went to look around at the sport shop which we bought nallu's crouch guard..hahaha and bought green tea. We went off to TK to play street soccer despite the slight drizzle..but TK was closed..so we went to haig court but it was crowded..but still we played 7 vs 11..kinda crowded but heck..then we played with the kids living in that neighbourhood..i scored a hat trick! And i saved a damn power shot aiming directly at me..muahahahaha skilled...and nallu was being a referee/ scarecrow...doing nth but still scoring some tyco and skilled goals..LOL
We parted around 6.30. Dehong followed me to singapore post to makan dinner. Met jessica ichun tunghoe and matthew and chatted with them for a bit before they left..dehong and i had a memorable one on one chat..sounds gay but what the heck..we are GD brothers. Talked about problems while we ate...Dehong got braces! Wooohoo !! I bought beer after that and we seperated soon after. Went home.
FIR RAWKZ. I like their songs plus the female singer..muahaha..and jessie told me that her friends find me hot!!! Unbelievable..Joanna also initiated an online conversation with me all of a sudden which was unexpected..haha..called eric and chatted with him for a bit..long day but super nice way to celebrate the end of prelims..and it was quite a smooth day after all.
Judgment day is coming..hopefully it can be smooth too.
