As the title suggests..it was a bittersweet day on the 13th. Not friday the 13th..but still it was pretty bad..but got loads of good events during the day..but before i get to the 13th..let me blog about the 12th.
Costa Sands at 2.30pm. No one was there and i had to sit in some dark quiet corner listening to hanson and reading some book about blacks. Seemed kinda antisocial but i was anticipating the arrival of my OG mates for a 3day 2nite chalet. Around 4, shirlynn came with her friend YC and her mum. Checked in and wanyee came along. Couldnt recognise quite a number of my OG mates in meridian but all was cool and we had a great time catching up on the old times. I sort of became closer to my OG mates coz during the first 5 days i was some antisocial ass and didnt really mix much. Missed TK too much..haha.. Anyway back to the chalet..the 2 storey room shirlynn booked was cool except the aircon sucks. Went to Giant at parkway and met sze hwei and darianne there. Chatted with them and talked to them about meridian days.
Bought stuff and went back to the chalet where we just chatted..and i was the only guy in a bedroom with 5 other girls..seems lucky but not so much. Chatted about JC life..promos..meridian life in particular and sze hwei and darianne find nallu cool !!! Hahaha but its awesome..i should be proud of my friend.. just that i would have never expected it..he would be delighted to know that ppl are wary of his existence. Went to macs and ate..saw susan, zhenhong and kangzhuang for 5 sec before i left.
Day 2. Waited for priya for 45 mins. 45 mins. 45mins. Haha and we went to the chalet to find out that they are going to parkway to chow down when priya just came from there.. upon arrival at parkway..priya and i sort of ditched the rest coz they had no activities planned and we decided to watch pride and prejudice. Keira Knightley !! Who cares about the male lead..hahaha..anyway we came up with a lame excuse of going back to priya's place to get ASTHMA medicine. Funny. Boarded 4 36 buses. Fun huh..first went to EW at suntec and then GV at marina. Both had no P&P. So we had to watch it at PS. But it was an awesome romantic movie...even though the british accent was kinda strong during the first part and i couldnt figure out a single thing they were talking.. but keira knightley was sooooooooooo sweet. Officially make her my fav. actress. No lust scenes throughout the movie..so it was pure innocent love. This was the sweet part of the bittersweet day.
Went back to the chalet after the movie and i got water splashed on my pants twice coz cars were zooming past water puddles on the road. Cool huh.. Ate steamboat at the chalet with the rest of the OG. It taste good too..haha love the soup. After that..wanted to see karhian at his anglican chalet but he wasnt there..so walked along the beach with priya..
Had a nice long chat with her even though i think i bored her throughout the whole thing. But it was great for me coz its been a long time since we had that kind of long chats ever since we went to different JCs. We shared a couple of secrets. I never expected myself to be able to pluck up the courage to admit to her how i felt when she got steady with sasi. I have always thought it would be my personal secret for life..considering the fact that blurting it out could have affected our friendship. At that moment along the beach..i was kinda encouraging her and decided to just sae it. But i felt so much better after telling her my true feelings instead of putting up facades and brave fronts. I think she felt bad..i think..but everything's cool now. Just gonna cherish the friendship i have with her even more than before.
Finally saw karhian and chatted with priya, him, susan and kangzhuang. Meridian rawkz..gonna support them for next year's soccer match against vjc. Sorry victorians. Had 5 missed calls from my dad and he got kinda pissed..took a cab to priya's place and waited for my dad like a fool. Felt really bad but everything was fine when i was in his car. What a forgiving dad i have..haha.
