WoOoOohoooo !!! Hell of a year it was !!! The year 2004 has been a great year for singapore. Not only is the first singapore idol crowned, the Olympic games were featured too on live TV and many other good events that took place.
It has been a fantastic year for me too. Even though it was my O lvl year, and i had really slogged my guts out for the prelims and O lvl papers, there were loads of good memories too...I would never forget the times i spent studying with friends, seeking help from teachers, conforting my friends when they are too stressed out and they consoled me too when i am too stressed...haha. Those were hard times...all to prepare for major exams. However....the exams are over ! A whole brand new JC life is gonna start soon and i am really looking forward to the days ahead. Wanna challenge my limits and prove to myself that i am not a nobody!
2004 has bad and good times. Grad nite was one of my favourites, especially when i got to have a spectacular hell of a time at Grand Hyatt hotel. Still remember Nallu was crowned the coolest guy in TK...Andreas was dragged to stage for a competition to see who is the greatest guy on that nite....and guess what ??? He won !!!! He definitely made all of us proud..showing off his cool moves on stage...and winning that bottle of shampoo...haha! Guess it was a sudden surge of courage to actually win that prize. The twins were also forced up stage to announce the hottest babes on that nite too....haha they were blushing like crazy....so shy. The nite ended with loads of dances and photo taking.
Furthermore, i will always remember the times my friends and I spent hanging out behind the library, talking about anything under the sun, doing dances and singing songs...esp Nallu's Michael Jackson remix moonwalk dance...haha. We cracked loads of lame jokes and played daidee during recess...those were really good times we had. I will also remember the times we watched movies together and went to other ppl's houses. Going to brian's house to play table tennis and mahjong, going to Jingyang's house to play soccer and table tennis, going to the ZA twins' house to play Xbox and magic, going to nallu's house to play Karem and cricket...those were the best times i had during the year 2004.
Without my friends, i wouldnt be what i am today. I would like to thank my group of best friends....the Gambling den ( Brian, Zamir, Zakir, Anan, Nallu, Mathan, Linhao, Jingyang, Kenneth, Andreas ) ....all my 4A pals....TK friends....i will always remember u guys and all the fun times we had.
I would also like to thank my teachers and my parents...for giving me continuous support throughout the year and helping me in times of need. I really appreciate what u have done for me.
Whoa...Today's Blog sure is long...but heck with it coz the year is gonna end. Going to a different JC next year...starting a brand new life....Here is the new year's resolution:
1) Earn myself a name which will be remembered in Meridian.
2) Become ambidextrous in badminton
3) Make temasek regret for not taking me in....hahaha
4) Work really hard to juggle my academic studies, CCAs and CIP
5) Build up body for NS
6) Make loads and loads of new friends
7) Often keep in touch with old pals
This is all i can think of rite now. Currently....Singapore is celebrating the nearing new year by counting down at Sentosa. The countdown would not be aired due to the recent earthquake and tsunami that devastated Indonesia, Sri lanka and Malaysia. Many have lost their lives, lost their relatives and lost their properties...hopefully, this crisis can be overcome soon with the help of the world aid. I give my deepest condolences to those who were affected by this sudden unexpected tragedy...
Oh well...with all that has been said...stay cool, rawk on and good luck for ur future endeavours in the year 2005 !!!!!!!!! Sayonara !
